Calçada Portuguesa - Streets of Portugal

Hoje na minha caminhada habitual com destino a casa reparei numa senhora, turista a admirar o trabalho de colocação de calçada. Ela estava de facto impressionada com o trabalho manual, a quantidade de pessoas a trabalhar, ao sol com muito calor, apenas com um martelo.

Um martelo e areia..umas pedras estrategicamente recortadas e uma obra de arte no chão.

Uma obra de arte que normalmente não reparamos no nosso dia a dia..

E se reparamos é porque o chao está "torto" ou escorregadio.. ou seja, focamo nos nas partes negativas deste marco de Portugal.

Nao costumo parar para admirar e por vezes dificulta me a vida mas nao posso deixar de admitir que tem caráter..mostra a nossa história..a nossa singularidade.

É bom..mostrarmos as nossas diferenças neste tempo de imitações..neste tempo de necessidade de pertença global..manter a individualidade.

E assim acabei a minha viagem a admirar todos os "chãos" que pisei..

Today in my usual walk to my house I noticed a lady, a tourist admiring the work of laying sidewalks. 

She was really impressed with the manual work, the amount of people working, in the sun in the heat, with only a hammer. 

A hammer and sand .. strategically cut stones and a work of art on the floor. 

A work of art that we do not normally notice in our daily life .. And if we notice it is because the ground is "crooked" or slippery .. that is, we focus on the negative parts of this landmark of Portugal. 

I do not usually stop to admire and sometimes it makes life difficult for me, but I can not help but admit that it has character.

It shows our history..our uniqueness. It is good to show our differences in this time of imitations ... in this time of need of global belonging ... to maintain individuality. 

And so I finished my journey to admire all the "grounds" that I stepped ..
